THE FLASH SEEKS HELP FROM BLACK LIGHTNING – Despero (guest star Tony Curran) warns The Flash (Grant Gustin) that great tragedies will befall the speedster and cause him to lose his mind. Once that happens, Armageddon will begin. Determined to prove Despero wrong, Barry doubles down on proving his innocence but a devastating revelation from Iris (Candice Patton) pushes him to the edge and sends him to seek counsel from Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams).

Next month, The Flash is racing back to The CW for season 8. However, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen already has his work cut out for him. The alien conqueror, Despero (Tony Curran), has arrived on Earth, and he’s giving Barry an ultimatum. In seven days, everything and everyone the Flash loves will die. It’s the end of the world, if Barry does nothing. That’s why Barry is calling in his Justice League-adjacent super-friends for the first time since Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The CW has released its first trailer for The Flash season 8, which begins with the five-part Armageddon crossover event. That’s why Batwoman/Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie), Mia Queen/Green Arrow (Katherine McNamara), and Ryan Choi/The Atom (Osric Chau) are here to lend Barry a hand. The original Atom, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), is also returning for this story. And he’s the only one who notices that Barry’s been bulking up.
